• Road milling machines are one of the primary types of asphalt pavement maintenance equipment, and a primary piece of equipment for asphalt concrete pavement maintenance. They are primarily used for excavating and renovating asphalt concrete surfaces on highways, urban roads, airports, and cargo yards. They can also remove pavement defects such as bumps, oil waves, rutting, and potholes, excavate pits and trenches in road surfaces, and perform scarification on cement pavements or milling to level surface irregularities.
